Dr. Robert Genco's research at the University of New York at Buffalo, a two-year study of patients with diabetes mellitus, to predict periodontal disease within this population and develop protocols to improve access to oral health care that leveraged additional funding from Procter and Gamble.

The Mississippi Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, to establish the Mississippi Oral Health Coalition, giving tools to doctors to promote children's oral health care from prenatal stages to preschool and beyond.




Maryland Children's Oral Health Institute

Dr. Winifred Booker with the Lessons in a Lunch Box: Healthy Teeth Essentials and Facts about Snacks. Dr. Winifred Booker and the Maryland Children's Oral Health Institute to launch Lessons in a Lunch Box: Healthy Teeth Essentials & Facts About Snacks, helping primary school children learn why good dental hygiene, dental visits, and smart choices in eating habits are important.




University of Colorado Denver School of Dental Medicine

Dr. Terry Batliner.Dr. Terry Batliner of the University of Colorado Denver School of Dental Medicine, in collaboration with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Oral Health Initiative and Entravision Communications, to produce Una Boca Saludable, a public service advertising campaign to promote oral health care literacy and outreach to Hispanic communities in the greater Denver area.
